I know it's been ages since my last mash-up but unfortunately my time is limited at the moment - gotta finish that bloody PhD after all! Anyway, with Halloween just around the corner I sat down and made something dark and sinister in order to scare the kids away. It may not be up to Combichrist material (yet!) but it certainly isn't Lady GaGa. Think of it as ADULT. meets Black Strobe. Here are my sources: |

About BynarBynar was beamed down to planet Earth the year The Human League were formed. Growing up with the sounds of The Cure, Depeche Mode and Joy Division, he never managed to figure out whether Friends Are Electric or Androids Dream of Electric Sheep and decided to become a computer scientist, hoping to find the answer to life, universe and everything (no, it’s NOT 42!). During his never-ending quest to get his PhD, Bynar travelled to Athens, Ediburgh, London and finally ended up in Salonica. In an ironic twist of fate he became a resident DJ at the infamous “Berlin” (i.e. the dodgiest bar in town), spinning everything from Indie Rock to Gothic, Electro and Synthpop. However, Bynar’s country did not appreciate his DJing skills and decided to draft him in the Navy, as if there weren’t enough potato peelers in this world. Unwilling to pursue a career as a swabber, Bynar resisted and kept on listening to music while on nightwatch. Now, after a nightmarish year, he is back on the loose, ready to cause more mayhem on the dancefloors. To prove that he never lost his hardcore, Bynar is running a music blog and a podcast, making mash-ups, writing articles for Pop+Rock magazine and hosting Indie Disco, a weekly radio show, at www.waveradio.gr (Tuesdays, 8-10 +2GMT).
